Impulse Responses have been making big waves in recent years. Now they've finally started to make their way into the compact pedal format, making realistic speaker simulation available to smaller pedalboards and lighter budgets. Here are some of the latest and greatest:
1) Hotone Omni IR
Just release from Hotone, they've shrunk down their IR technology into a tiny package, while retaining pro features like XLR out, headphones, aux in, and tweakabilty from the onboard controls.
2) Mooer Radar
The Mooer Radar was the first IR in mini pedal format, and packs some great features like dedicated headphone out as well as basic power amp simulation.
3) Nux Mini Studio
Taking their Solid Studio and shrinking it down, Nux have created a very simple impulse response unit in the Nux Mini Studio
4) Digitech CabDryVR
Possibly the first impulse response pedal, the Digitech CabDryVR offers both Bass and Guitar IRs, as well as true stereo processing.
