The late 50s and early 60s were a wild time over at Gibson - from the release of the Flying V and Explorer in 1958, to the Firebird and Thunderbird in 1963. What we have here today is a first-year Firebird III in completely original condition! A beautiful mahogany body and neck, rosewood fretboard, mini-humbuckers and that ultra-cool Firebird tremolo system. This one even has the original case as well! Today we're pairing this beauty of a guitar with a beautiful (if modern) 2007 Vox AC15H1TVL - a 50th anniversary hand-wired AC15 with a single 12" speaker all wrapped up in a sleek mahogany cabinet. A fantastic little combo with plenty of juice for many applications, and that classic Vox tone that has stayed true since 1947! We've got Aaron Hiebert on the demo and this little amp running quite hot, so crank up the volume and enjoy!
