10 String Guitarist Perfecto De Castro performs "Cançó trista (l'àvia) ", from his CD "A Journey through 10 Strings"
"Cançó trista (l'àvia) " was written by composer Paco Talarn and was dedicated to his grandmother who was always supportive of his music. He described the piece as "a cry of anguish" and was written a few moments after learning that his beloved grandmother has passed.
