The first thing worth noting is that this piano has 88 full size, hammer action keys and a 64 note polyphony so you have a professional feel and action that’s ideal for practice, gigging and really more expressive playing.
The layout is clear and simple and this bright LCD display gives you quick access to the controls. A metronome and split function are also included as standard.
The sound engine contains 20 dynamic voices along with 50 backing styles and 60 songs so you have a full range of tools here to play anything from classical and jazz to pop and show tunes.
The two 15w speakers kick out a good sound but for larger performances you can hook this up easily to an amp or PA system.
You can also connect two pairs of headphones – perfect if you want to rehearse or play silently with someone else and you can also connect an MP3 player and play along to your favourite tunes or backing tracks.
Another added bonus on this piano is the MIDI output so you’ve got a ton of extra options there to use it as a composition tool with your favourite DAW or with outboard synth modules and samples for extra voices.
This really is a comprehensive stage piano that will see you through a full range of performances.
