Demo on the Matt Signature Model MS SOV SPECIAL (MS-1V) By Brett Kingman
"This an edited version of the original which can be found at http://youtu.be/RGp_pMr30GQ . In this version I've treated the audio with some slight compression and hall reverb courtesy a of the mighty Waves CLA Guitars plugin; and, I've also tarted up the video with some Final Cut Pro X treatments. The aim of this version is primarily to make the pedal/amp combo sound like they might onstage where, for me, gear either cuts it or doesn't.
This is the third version of the mighty SOV Overdrive that I've been able to try. The first was the Providence SOV-2; then came the Free The Tone version which had creamier highs; and finally this one, the Matt Schofield Signature version which, to my ears, has a little more headroom than the two aforementioned versions and cleaner or brighter highs. I like it a lot.
Here it is with a Redhouse Strat-style guitar and a Palmer DREI amp in various output modes. Great stuff, Yuki and Matt! "
