EVERY guitarist wants to be able to play fast! Shredding is cool. Shredding is fun. But how do you ACTUALLY improve the speed of your picking? I've gleaned a few specific exercises from my favorite guitar instructional videos that have helped me increase speed and dexterity. The exercises are fairly easy but the practice is difficult. You can't improve without resistance.
