Each month, Tone Shapers puts together a couple of pro-level hotrodded guitars that sell for reasonable prices. We have two purposes: 1) To showcase products that we sell, which includes Fender parts, and top-quality Fender® bodies and necks; and 2) To educate customers on what is achievable with these components, and what's involved with assembling them.
These guitars are sold for the parts cost. Our expertise and labor is provided free. We're in the parts business, not the guitar/amp business - we're happy to showcase and sell the parts involved. We do not build guitars to order, so we will offer only a very limited number of completed guitars. At the time you're reading this, this guitar may no longer be available.
The guitars we assemble carry only the warranties of the various parts involved. Fender® bodies and necks carry a 1-year warranty for instance, so guitars built with Fender® bodies/necks will carry a 1-year warranty on the bodies/necks. But the assembled guitars do not carry a Fender® lifetime guitar warranty.
This GuitarGuys Hotrod uses a USA-made Fender® maple neck, with a Mexican-made Fender® body. Full description on our website:
