This record is on my top 5 to work on for sure. Josh Freese on drums and Paul Bushnell on bass. I've said this before but when I'm on the floor tracking with these guys, I feel like the worst musician in the room. Chris Daughtry is the REAL DEAL. I forgot to share this story. We were working on a song and for some reason this particulat track didn't have a guide vocal to play off of so I called Chris into the control room and asked him to sing the chorus in my ear. Well... there was the voice. From his face to my ear. It sounded recorded, compressed, mixed, mastered, shrinkwrapped and in the stores. Just like that.
