The Maxon AD-999 Analog Delay pedal is one of the Maxon Vintage Series. The AD999 is unique in the fact that when all of the BBD manufacturers stopped making chips, Maxon found their own source. After extensive testing, they decided that the new chips were worthy and started using them. This gives the Maxon AD-999 900ms of vintage analog delay.
The Maxon AD-999 Analog Delay pedal features some of the smoothest delay you can find. The three-dimensional delay produced by the AD999 is fat and vintage, without the excessive tonal decay that analog delays are famous for.
