The gifted singer-songwriter Holly Miranda stopped by with her Gibson L-200 Emmylou Harris model to sing two songs and chat about music.
Watch in the above video as Miranda performs a new song, "Until Now," off her just released self-titled album, and the Leonard Cohen classic "I'm Your Man."
Miranda also shares how she connected with music at a young age, singing in a church choir and practicing guitar with calloused, sore fingertips. Last year, Miranda joined Karen O (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) on tour, primarily playing acoustic guitar in her band. As Miranda explains, that's when she first borrowed the L-200 Emmylou Harris from Gibson, but she keeps taking it out on loan because she can't find a guitar she likes better.
Catch Miranda on tour this summer, and follow her work as a member of Scarlett Johansson's new band, the Singles, which also features Este Haim (of Haim), Kendra Morris, and Julia Haltigan.
