The neck it’s a mid 1980s Tokia neck that Stevie Ray Vaughan owed and played and is on the Guitar that is artist painted featured on SRV first album front cover Texas Flood. No I did not route the body and use a left handed tremolo as Stevie did. From me as a player that is not me. I am blessed just to have this experience in life I’m holding and playing the same neck as one of the Masters has. I have much info. Pictures and facts to come. Before Fender snagged him up and Tokia got erased on much of the web.This neck came to me untouched for nearly 20 years in a vault. Just the guitar neck was package in a many boxes as big as a whole guitar would come in shipping. I looked at it for 1 day, and said I have to play this.... Once in a life time chance. BAM. I give you my build will all the same year real deal Fender parts. Facts are. 1959 Pickups,Pots, 3 way switch, Bridge, Output Jack. 1963 Stratocaster Body, 1975 Pickguard, SRV Letters came from same truck stop Stevie would get his. ( These came from another collector that knew I acquired this neck) I don';t have any fancy words and get flustered just talking about it and even playing this Strat. But I put this neck on, I did not have to do 1 turn or adjustment to anything, I only tuned it once and it stayed in tuned. It's like MoJo is just all over this Guitar. I know this sounds weird and I have had 100's, close to 1,000 Vintage Strat's I have sold and bought. Not much moves me and I have owned this neck a year now so it;'s not a short lived buzz. The neck has DNA that I feel..!!!!
