Martin has taken the already excellent X-Series of acoustics up to the next level for 2024! The guitars shown in this video are in the X2 range of the X Series which feature solid wood top and HPL (High Pressure Laminate) back and sides, with the addition of new exotic wood HPL patterns including Cocobolo, Ziricote and Brazilian Rosewood all shown here! Changed specs include thinner neck profiles with rounded fretboard edges and a slightly wider string, along with rounded body edges all in an effort to increase player comfort. New Martin E1 electronics give you soundhole-mounted controls as well as a convenient player-facing tuner LED to monitor your tuning status - very helpful on-stage or during practice sessions.
