Meliza Manalili Jackson, (born March 24th 1986 in the Philippines) is a guitarist, musician and songwriter based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

She began playing piano at age 8, and moved on to guitar shortly after. Growing up in Northern Arizona, music was always a big part of her life.

Some of her earliest inspiration for playing guitar came from her dad's old records, artists like: Buddy Holly & The Crickets, Johnny Cash, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Muddy Waters & Stevie Ray Vaughan. Early Blues & Country music defined her playing style early on. By high school, she developed a strong passion for Rock and Roll. Her love for electric guitar was driven by guitarists like Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Brian May & Jimi Hendrix. After high school she spent many years making a living as a working musician throughout Arizona in various cover bands and original projects.



In 2016, she joined the band Decker as lead guitarist. Her recording debut with the band can be heard on the single, "Matchstick Man", from their album titled "Into the Red".

Decker went on to do a full U.S tour in 2017 in support of that album- released by Royal Potato Records. Included in the 2017 U.S tour dates were live sessions featured with KEXP in Seattle, WA and Paste Studios in New York.



Late summer of 2018, Meliza was brought on as the guitarist for the all girl garage rock band 'The Darts'. Shortly afterwards the band took off on a U.S Tour supporting The Damned. Shortly after returning home from tour, Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys) signed the band to his record label Alternative Tentacles, and they recorded the album "I Like You, But Not Like That"

After the official release of the new record at Punk Rock Bowling in May 2019, The Darts continued on to tour the US & Europe, even joining on to open for acts like Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Rancid, L7, Pennywise, Suicidal Tendencies, and Billie Joe Armstrong's side project The Longshot. The Darts are currently in early production for their next record.
