In this video I walk through how I am dialing in and modifying the tone stack in my DIY 6AU6 Princeton type guitar amplifier so it sounds more to my liking. I originally built it with a typical Fender style Treble and Bass control, but my mid control was 250k. The idea was that using a much higher amount of resistance will act more like a tone stack bypass and allow me to mix the tone stack with the raw signal. I ended up not preferring this and dropped it down to a more traditional 25k mid control.
