Teles have always been great for the bends. Nathaniel channels his mate from Oxford to put this ‘68 Fender Telecaster Thinline to the test, and it doesn’t leave him high and dry.
High And Dry is the third song from Radiohead's second album, The Bends. It is also one of the title tracks from the High & Dry / Planet Telex single, released in 1995. The song was recorded during the Pablo Honey sessions. The band was unsatisfied with the song, so it was scrapped. The song was rediscovered during the recording of The Bends . The song was not rerecorded, only remastered. The band still doesn't like the song. Yorke once said in an interview that "[It's] not bad, it's really bad." The song was only included on The Bends for its commercial appeal.
