The now-defunct Tycobrahe Sound Co. was the originator of the Octavia pedal, which was a fuzz pedal which also created an octave doubling effect (one octave higher) made famous by Jimi Hendrix and Jeff Beck on classic recordings like Are You Experienced and Wired. It was the fuzz octave effect also later used by Stevie Ray Vaughan and considered the most desirable by vintage collectors. The Voodoo Lab Proctavia is an exact replica of the original Octavia, and uses the same transistors, germanium diodes and transformer coupled output stage as the original circuit to produce the outrageously edgy fuzz and high octave sounds which take your guitar sound into the stratosphere! This extremely dynamic pedal can achieve synth like tones and well as ring modulator effects just by using different guitar volume and pickup selections.
