The Fender Custom Shop 72 Tele Custom was built to be a real rock n roll machine with a broken-in
feel and a gnarly sonic signature. A humbucker in the neck position gives you fat rhythm sounds you might not expect from a Telecaster, while an Overwound Nocaster pickup keeps those classic, searing bridge position tones intact. Individual volume and tone knobs for each pickup plus three-position switching further enhance the tonal range of the Fender Custom Shop 72 Tele Custom. Playability is crucial, and to that end the Q1 Limited Tele Custom is outfitted with a flatter 9.5" radius maple fretboard, 21 Narrow Jumbo frets, and an Oval "C" neck, perfect for chord work or big bends. The lightweight Premium Ash body of the Fender Custom Shop 72 Tele Custom features a meticulously relic-ed black urethane finish and a tummy cut for maximum comfort during those long sets.
