http://reverb.com/?query=capo&utm_source=gearmandude Reverb is THE buying and selling source for all things new/used/vintage guitar and bass gear related...there's also drum and keyboard and other stuff! A large percentage of listings are in the 'make an offer' form, so you can really score some great deals. Much lower seller fees than eBay, and it's focused on music gear exclusively, so you don't have to wade through vintage Ford Mustang fenders and headlights, when you're really looking for a '69 reissue Mustang guitar. The selling format and layout is WAY faster and simpler than ebay as well. Check it out!
Just another helpful tip from the fuzzy mind of me. Capo. If you're gonna use it an move it around every song, to fool the audience into thinking you know more than 6 chords, then ya gotta learn how to put it on gently. Don't use the Kyser...it's too tight. Get a PAIGE, SHUBB, G7th, or something with an adjustable tension. Put it right behind the fret....RIGHT BEHIND it....like a hair from touching it....and apply just enough tension to basically touch the strings to the fret next to the capo....don't clamp it all the way down to the fingerboard...this is why you're having to tune, retune, and then tune again. Just enough pressure to touch the strings to the fret. I'm mocking simply for entertainment, so don't take it too seriously...I just honestly thought people could use this information. It's something I take for granted, that everyone knows, but maybe they don't, because they never had a Gearmann to tell them. I am here to serve.
Stop blaming your guitar...it's not her fault...quit using your capo as a vice grip, and throw away the clamp style capos...or better yet...quit using capos!!! LOL!!!
