www.ProGuitarShop.com-Welcome to the Barber Barb EQ! This unique little pedal gives you classic sounds of vintage tone stacks. The three-way switch lets you choose between 59 Tweed, 60's Blackface, and 60's British amp head style eq. The Barb EQ features a very interactive midrange control that gives a very wide range of adjustment and also features a push/pull pot that changes over to simulate the Bright input of the old tweed and british amps. You can use the Barber Barb EQ for pushing your amp as well. It has a lot of output capable via the volume knob and tons of clean headroom thanks to the 24 volt internal power supply.
When you crank up the Barber Barb EQ, the 60's come knockin at your door. In Blackface mode, the best of the 60's Fender amps are available at the click of a switch. The 59' Tweed sounds crystally and clear, with tons of dynamic response and a smooth midrange. British mode, well, it sounds British. Think early Vox AC30. The push/pull switch perfectly imitates the Bright input of an old Fender with snappy highs and clean, clear low end. The Barber Barb EQ was designed for tube amplifiers with no EQ or just a single Tone control. For the best of the old sounds, check out the Barber Barb EQ.
