For more than 40 years, Northern Ireland's George Lowden has been building wonderful handmade guitars. We visited with George at this year's NAMM show, and he was kind enough to discuss the genesis of his latest model, the small-bodied, short-scale Wee Lowden. Lowden discusses how, by relaxing the bracing system, he voices the guitar to generate a fuller bass response than most smaller-bodied guitars.
