VFE Pedals Focus Mid Boost

http://vfepedals.com/ This is the Focus from VFE Pedals, a boost designed specifically to hit the front end of your amp hard while tightening up the tone and enhancing mid-range response. Inspired by the natural filtering effect of classic overdrive EQ circuits, the Focus selectively rolls off the extreme high and low end of the guitar frequency spectrum, then boosts the mids for a tight, defined tone that punches right through the densest of mixes. The response of its high and low pass filters can be shifted with precision using the "Tight" control, which handles bass frequencies, and the "Smooth" control, which handles high-end. Each band of filters has a dedicated "Slope" switch, which toggles between single pole filtering, for a smoother roll-off, and double pole filtering, for a sharper roll-off. The Focus also features a Mix control, allowing you to blend the dry, unaffected signal in with the sculpted and boosted signal. Two internal trimpots control the amount of clean gain in the dry signal path, and the brightness of the LED, respectively. Like all VFE pedals, the Focus is handmade in Puyallup, Washington, and features premium components, including DualMode, TrueSoft Bypass switching than can be set up for momentary switching capability.
