LANGUAGE WARNING... Youtube content creators are under assault from YouTube's demonetizing algorithm bot. In the past couple weeks I have personally have TWO of my videos demonetized because of innocuous words in the title or description that were take entirely out of context by a nameless, faceless piece of software. Whoever is writing this stupid program needs to be fired. YouTube content creators like me with no history of offensiveness and hundreds of videos should be given the benefit of the doubt, not have their videos demonetized at a time when they could potentially be making the most money. Some of us depend on YouTube for all or part of our monthly salaries. This is a business model YouTube itself has encouraged. It's a burgeoning and legitimate industry and occupation for some people, but that is being undermined by YouTube's senseless algorithm. I used to think being a YouTube content creator could be a viable second income. I no longer think that. No boss ever walks onto a factory floor, for instance, and tells the guy stamping out parts that because of the color of this shirt or the look on his face he isn't getting paid today.
