In this video I explain how to wire up your own external footswitch for the Line 6 HX Stomp multi effects pedal.

An external footswitch enables you to use footswitch 4 and 5 for additional functionality in the pedal. You may need to configure the settings menu to make use, but this is how to build the pedal. I know this video I have 3 footswitches, but be aware that only 2 of them work with the HX Stomp.

You need to use a stereo cable to connect to the HX stomp.
