Gibson celebrates the 100th birthday of the legendary guitarist and innovator Les Paul with the limited-edition 2015 Commemorative Series, packed with player-friendly features.
Sleek and ready for action, the no-nonsense Commemorative Series LPM is a carved-top powerhouse at an accessible price. It boasts traditional Kluson tuning machines and a zero fret nut for easy action adjustments, and its wider mahogany neck and thicker rosewood fretboard offer more note-bending real estate and enhanced sustain. Mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays run along the fretboard, leading down to a brilliantly finished maple top on a mahogany body. ’61 Zebra pickups pump out vintage humbucker tone, and upgraded wiring delivers the sound with improved signal strength.
The tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece are satin nickel, and a comprehensive point setup with improved Plek process provides smooth action and improved intonation. Each Commemorative Series guitar is graced with a “Les Paul 100” logo and Les Paul hologram on its headstock, and comes with a Gibson gold hardshell case and a Lifetime Limited Warranty.
