Today we're showcasing our very own PGS EP-3 Toneprint for the TC Electronic Flashback Delay. In 2011, I had the privilege to meet up with TC's Product manager Tore in Denmark, where we used the Toneprint technology to conjured up a very convincing tape echo sound. No doubt about it, tape delays have a special quality that comes from the saturation, warmth and natural born modulation brought on by tape running its paces across the heads. However, they're heavy, noisy and expensive to maintain. Enter the compact, affordable TC Flashback Delay. The Toneprint software enabled Tore and I to dig into the Flashback's internal parameters and voice this delay like a vintage, fluttering tape echo.
