About the SAITO Guitars
------------------------------------

Masaki Saito started its activity in 1991, opening a "repair shop" in the heart of Tokyo. In his workshop, he takes care of repairs for stores, distributors and brands, with a passion for the restoration of vintage guitars. He continued this activity until 2013, when he created SAITO Guitars after gaining a very solid reputation during these two decades.
SAITO Guitars, are 100% made in Japan, with ultra high quality production and totally original designs. The philosophy of the brand is ... typically Japanese! Quality, attention to details and dedication to their work. SAITO builds only 30 or so instruments a month, ranging from sophisticated archtop to high-end solid bodies. Here, nothing is left to chance, meticulousness is required and the production is simply perfect.
At SAITO Guitars, the woods are naturally dried and the finishes are made "in house" to obtain the very best. Indeed, SAITO develops its own production tools, its own varnishes, glues, pickups and a large part of its hardware. The use of CNC machines allied to manual work makes it possible to release Custom Shop instruments for a fraction of the price of many well-known US brands.
