I've been messing around with a higher gain silicon based Fuzz Face. This thing sure fits the bill! It really rips. Nothing special about the controls. I'm using 2N4401 transistors.

I first set the amp up very clean, then towards the end I crank it up. I've always heard people say that fuzz faces sound best into cranked amps. You be the judge...

I actually was getting kind of a Doom/Sludge metal vibe with the amp cooking and the fuzz raging. I had to channel my inner killing in the name. 3:58

I'm using a PRS McCarty Standard with GFS Mean 90's - Frenzel 5E3 Deluxe Plus - Guitar Rig 4 speaker simulation.
