The Night Train G2 is an all tube, 15 watt 1x12 combo that sports a sleek design, matched with both traditional Vox cleaniless and modern high gain tones. This gig-worthy amp starts with a pair of EL-84 power tubes and 3 12ax7s that help deliver that unmistakable Vox chime and smooth saturation. The control panel offers two channels, Bright and Girth, where the first covers anything from clean American voicing to raw overdrive, especially when using the Thick mode to bypass the EQ.
The Girth channel, selected by the toggle or a standard footswitch adds an extra gain stage for heavier tune distortion and sustain that might rival a few pedals on your board. The NT15C1 also adds reverb and an effects loop to the equation which gives this powerful combo an even bigger voice. Fine tuning and pickup matching can easily be accomplished by the Night Train's Dark switch while the global 3 band EQ covers a lot of tonal ground. Finally, all of this pure tube goodness is then fed into a Celestion G12M, a 25watt greenback that provides enough thump and headroom for any setting.
