MIDI 2.0 core specification has been signed off for 2 years and now is in the process of being prototyped to ensure things are talking to each other.
We figured it would be good to have a chat with a couple of people involved in the project to get an update - Pete Brown who is on the Executive Committee and is also part of the Microsoft Windows Audio and MIDI team, and Mike Kent who is also part of the core executive.
