Today we're taking a look at a Fender model that doesn't get as much love as it rightfully should, the Duo-Sonic II! These funky instruments are the two-pickup big brothers to the Musicmaster, another student-oriented guitar from Fender. This guitar specifically has a 24" scale length in contrast to the original 22.5" scale of earlier models. As you can probably tell, this one has been refinished to "Moss Green Sparkle", a fine job done by Marty Bell. In addition to the refin, a "F" Bigsby vibrato has been added, a Mastery bridge installed, new electronics/tuners/knobs/neckplate, and it has been fitted with a great set of Lollar pickups! Today we have Dan Phelps in the shop to demo this guitar through the 1962 Fender Super Amp we've been featuring recently!
