We began with the raw materials that inspire us and designed each of the 51 instruments to display the essence and beauty of it's components. The result is a collection of stunning guitars worthy of the most discriminating connoisseur. The 2014 Collection is available from select Suhr dealers.
The culmination of a year long quest to design an instrument that embodies the essence of the phrase "Design Inspired by Nature". We began with the sourcing finest one piece Figured Koa body from Hawaii and paired it with a stunning, ultra-rare Figured Mexican Cocobolo fingerboard. 11,000+ year old Alaskan Mastodon Ivory was selected for the nut, logo, and fingerboard inlay. The appointments are completed with cocobolo knobs, gold hardware and gold strings.
