I got my warmoth strat back today from the setup guy in town. He's really really amazing. His name is Leonard Shapiro and if you're in Minneapolis you need to check him out.

This is the strat I traded for the thinline tele a month ago. I had a big heartache for a while as the trus rod got jammed up into the nut. It was a warmoth pro strat neck with an ebony fingerboard...amazing! It was my own fault. My DIY attitude can get carried away and now I know my limitations. Anyways this neck is from the MIM strat I've made some videos of. I'm looking around for a nice neck to put on this one again in the next couple of months. This is a part time fix as I have an audition coming up soon and need this guitar.
The strat has a Dimarzio area '61 in the neck, a Lace Sensor Gold in the middle, and a Dimarzio Virtual Vintage Blues in the bridge. I really love the Dimarzio's. They give some really great old school strat tones with NO noise. They are really great. I'd highly recommend them. I have a master volume and master tone. The last switch activates the bridge pickup in parallel with whatever the 5-way is on.
The body is alder and is from Warmoth. The bridge is a hardtail and it really helps with the sustain. I was unsure how I'd like the rear route and no pickguard, but I am really loving it. The natural finish is really sweet. Great tone!
This is a quick tone demo on my blues junior. I am running straight in, and to my ear it sounded better than ever. I really love this guitar!
