Bill Ortiz has worked with Santana since 2000, but as a resident of the Bay area, he grew up listening to Carlos and had long admired his playing. As a horn player, Bill enjoys playing off of Santana's warm, round tones, and after more than a decade, Bill can tell Carlos's tone is getting better and warmer with every show.
