Manchester Orchestra singer/guitarist Andy Hull picked up his very first Fender electric guitar at Mars Music in Gwinnett, Ga.
It was, as he describes, “a really ugly purple Strat,” but despite what it lacked in looks, it got him hooked.
In this interview, he talks about how his guitar playing progressed, his influences and how he found his way to the Telecaster.
