Buying Mesa Boogie Amps outside the USA is costly. So import a USA one and do this conversion.. will work for UK, Europe, Singapore, Australia and many more places. YOU NEED ABILITY TO DO THIS - THERE IS HIGH DANGER! However, it really is not rocket science and my conversion worked first time. The method is similar to some other Mesa Boogie amps too!

If you have no experience and are not qualified then don't attempt this you could be killed. Components bought from http://www.tubeampdoctor.com and of course you reverse this procedure if you want to convert an export model to USA voltages.

This conversion actually has TWO power transformers... the first off the shelf and the second (reason for the delay) custom made at Tube Amp Doctor. Support was from Stephan (TAD engineer) and as always Stephan is some of the best support I have received from ANY company. As I was experienced before in Mesa conversion Stephan was the real help with the custom preamp power transformer without which this conversion could not have happened. Thank you Stephan for all your hard work.

Even if you are not planning to do this conversion the video is nice to see exactly what's inside the Mesa Boogie Electra Dyne chassis. There's also a Service Modification that should be carried out to some Electra Dyne amplifiers to extend the reliability of the amplifier.
