This Martin Custom Shop D-45 Sloped Shoulder 12 Fret in Ambertone can only be had through the Martin Custom Shop.
It's got a serious list of cool features that set it apart from anything you'll find on the Martin Pricelist. First off, it's a slope shouldered dreadnought. Second, it has 12 frets clear of the neck instead of the usual 14. It's got a slotted peg head for old time looks and tone. The top is made from Adirondack Spruce. The back and sides from Guatemalan Rosewood. Finally, it's finished in the gorgeous Ambertone Sunburst. Basically, this is a dreadnought for the finger picker. It's got a massive tone but a slightly shorter feel due to the 12 fret neck.
