http://www.guitarBreakdown.com - Michael Bacarella is back with a great Charlie Christian Guitar Lesson. This Guitar Lick is taken from the 1939 recording of the song Rose Wood by the Benny Goodman Sextet. In this Lick you’ll see how Charlie Christian visualizes chord shapes while he plays his solos. It’s a great way to improvise without thinking about scales and patterns. It’s almost like embellishing chords and coloring them with other tones while thinking of phrases and melodies.

Michael Bacarella is currently studying with some amazing guitar players at USC … guys like Bruce Forman, Richard Smith, Frank Potenza, Steve Travato, Pat Kelley, Carl Verheyen and many others.
