On May 9th, 2018, a few of the guys from Chicago Music Exchange came by to check out the shop. Little did they know what we had in store for them. An obstacle course meant to challenge them both mentally and physically, our contestants had to complete the following tasks to win a pedal of their choice.
• The run of endurance - contestants must sprint through the twist and turns of the Walrus enclosure stock without touching anything.
• Speed Solder - contestants must correctly solder pedal components together under the pressure of the clock.
• Light em up - contestants must breadboard an LED and correctly complete a circuit to make the LED light up.
• Prep & Pack - contestants must locate a specific product in the shipping department, box, pack and finally tape the box to move on to the final stage.
• You'll shoot your eye out - contestants must shoot a pellet gun from a specified distance at an empty pedal enclosure. Once this goal is achieved, contestant has now finished the challenge.
