You’re watching the Haymaker Dynamic Drive (limited matte black/mint finish). Not content to simply rehash other company's tired old ideas about overdrive, Caroline Guitar Company started fresh with their Haymaker Dynamic Drive, building it from the ground up to be the most open, dynamic, and versatile overdrive pedal in the game. At lower gain settings the Haymaker feels like an extension of your amp, while higher gain settings veer into distortion and fuzz territory. It features three modes of operation, with Mode A generating classic soft clipped drive, while Mode B features less compression and more clean volume, and Mode C brings the noise with hard clipped distortion and fuzz textures. The control set include knobs for gain, volume, and shape, which refines overall frequency response and "hair" around the notes. There's also the Stacks knob, which is a low-pass filter for further shaping of the treble content. Like all of Caroline's fine wares, the Haymaker Dynamic Drive is made by hand in Columbia, South Carolina, and features true bypass switching.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these Haymakers in the matte black/mint color scheme featured in this video will go towards the medical bills of Columbia musician Chuck Sligh (Burnt Books/The Fishing Journal) and his dog Nessie.
