The Roland D-05 Linear Synthesizer is an innovative analog synth, basing its design on the classical Roland D-50 from 1987. The Roland D-05 synth utilises Digital Circuit Behaviour (DCB) to ensure the original sound is faithfully recreated with immense detail. The original D-50 helped to shape the sound of the late 80s, combining a mix of sampled attack and sustaining waveforms to achieve a truly unique sound and musical aesthetic.
The vintage-style design of the Roland D-05 Linear Synth, includes a versatile joystick control for navigating presets, as well as selected sounds and accessing different modes. The D-05 synthesizer also boasts a 64-step, polyphonic onboard sequencer and arpeggiator. It comes complete with all the presets from the original, accompanied by a selection of new sounds to bring it into the modern day.
The compact design even features a built-in mini-speaker for ultimate portability, and it can be operated using 4 x AA batteries.
