Welcome to ProGuitarShop and ToneReport.com, today we're driving the Forza, by Seymour Duncan. The Forza is a glassy, transparent overdrive that still delivering truckfuls of gain. At lower Drive settings, the Forza plays nice with your rig, but cranking the
Drive knob hits the turbo switch, delivering up to 37 decibels of sweet, saturating gain. Before it hits your amp, the molten gain hits a powerful active three-band EQ, which adapts to your pickups, other pedals and amp settings, ensuring the most perfect fit. Under the hood of the Forza, you'll find a germanium clipping arrangement, and combined with the powerful gain engine, this generates sweet saturation that never sounds fizzy or clunky. If low-gain overdrive isn't quite your speed, shift gears on the Forza by decreasing the Drive control to zero. By doing this, the Drive is out of the circuit and what remains is a sweet but powerful clean boost. The boost section is still affected by the EQ section, making for a powerful and versatile drive pedal that can hang in any race. Gently nudging the Drive knob to taste will add in just a hint of grime for a gentle sagging character that both you and your amp will love. In order to keep the signal path free of buffers and such, the Forza is wired for true bypass switching, and is made in the same American facility that produces Mr. Duncan's pickups.
