Wilco bassist John Stirratt, an original member since the band’s 1994 incarnation, feels that the band has reached new heights — a by-product of the chemistry that has developed after two decades of working together.

“The depth you can get into as musicians, with that many shows and that many years — it’s absolutely second nature,” said Stirratt. “I feel really lucky to be a part of that interplay you get with an ensemble after that many years, especially with as many talented players that I play with. It’s very much beyond words.”
