Andy McKee has made a name for himself as one of the pre-eminent fingerstyle guitar players in the world, becoming a global sensation through his viral YouTube videos and mind-blowing compositions.

McKee was recently also one of the first artists to experience the all-new Fender Acoustic Pro Amp Series. Fender will soon roll out his demo videos of both amps, but in the meantime, watch this behind-the-scenes clip to get a taste for these new amps.

"For me, I like when I do shows or perform anywhere, I like to have a pretty natural sound coming out of the PA or whatever I’m playing through," McKee said. "And so when I first tried these amplifiers I was really impressed with how natural it still sounded. It didn’t really affect the tone, as far as the natural sound of it. Of course, it’s got EQ and you can dial in as you wish.

"I like to have that natural sound of the guitar coming out. I really don’t want it to be affected too much unless I’m adding a bit of reverb or maybe some chorus I might want for a certain effect.

"But that was something I thought was really nice. It didn’t feel like it took away from the guitar in any way. It was really a great representation of the acoustic guitar coming through the amp."
