Kicking off on International Women’s Day 2020 (IWD2020), we spoke to front woman Zoe Mead, one of the creators of the band Wyldest. Zoe talked to us about her creative process and how she draws inspiration from various genres, blending shoegaze, dream-pop and indie music to create a unique Wyldest sound.
Picking-up comparisons such as Daughter and Warpaint, the trio enjoy a wide range of support from BBC Radio 1, NPR and KEXP, through coverage from the likes of The Line Of Best Fit, The i Newspaper and The Independent.
