After dealing with this crap for years, I've gotta say it to the manufacturers: I love your software, but your copy protection blows! Show us legitimate users the respect we deserve and figure out something better! If you're smart enough to emulate the idiosyncrasies of an 1176, then you should be smart enough to figure out how to not treat your users like dirt!
