This beautiful Tele is the result of a special run of Europe-only Fender Custom Shop guitars, each designed by a different Master Builder and then built by the custom shop team. Each model is available for a limited time in strictly limited numbers.

Paul Waller is the Master Builder here and he has gone for a ’53 Journeyman Telecaster in White Blonde. Waller’s preference here is for a classic Ash body and a riff-sawn Maple neck with an excellent ’53-era Soft V neck profile. This spec has been married to a more bend-friendly 9.5” fingerboard radius, a great playability-based decision. Medium Jumbo frets are another concession to modernity.

This Tele matches a Handwound Broadcaster bridge pickup with a Handwound 51 Nocaster unit in the neck and adds some rocket fuel in the form of a Mid Boost circuit! This of course adds a whole new palette of powerful sounds to add to this already versatile Tele!

A sympathetically applied Journeyman level of relic work adds some icing to this tasty cake.
