The Drive Maker is a tweakable Drive Engine. It is so flexible that it could be used for anything. Clean, Bluesy, Metal, fat leads, weird fuzz, octave up fuzz, anything...I personally think this is the best drive pedal out there (well, is my baby..). You can adjust how it responds to the guitar, the symmetry, the clipping characteristics, etc.. Apart from the flexibility and great tone, i also added a gate control for those djent fans, a guitar (upper mids emphasis)/bass(extended low end) switch, a footswitchable boost function and an internal FX loop that can be assigned to the boost switch, great for including the delay or other effect at the solo part, with no extra stomping around.
