Control of the Blues King's stages starts with pre-gain Bass for tightening up or fattening the guitar signal. Next, the VFE Blues King employs a soft clipping toggle to select between symmetrical and asymmetrical modes which have great affect of the dynamics, compression and boosting abilities of the overdrive. The final hard clipping stage sweeps between thick Germanium clipping and wide open Silicon distortion. Like all VFE pedals, the Blues King is handmade in the USA with great attention to detail and component selection, plus true bypass relay switching.
