Welcome back, you just blasted off with the Interstellar Orbiter from our friends at Earthquaker Devices. The Interstellar Orbiter is a pair of resonant filters that work in tandem to give the Interstellar Orbiter its alien sound. One LFO sweeps both filter sections in opposite directions for a sound never before heard in a stompbox. Each filter has individually adjustable Intensity, Resonance and Mix controls for super-fine tuning. Up top, both filters have three global controls for LFO rate, LFO frequency and Direct, which functions as a master wet/dry mix control. Perhaps the best part about this pedal is how well it stacks with any dirt pedal, especially a nice thick fuzz, as it opens up the depth of the filter and produces chewy, resonant vocal formant sounds that are begging for a spot on at your next gig or studio session.
