The Pioneer DJ TORAIZ AS-1 Monophonic Analog Synthesizer comes from a collaboration between experienced DJ and production equipment manufacturers Pioneer, and the legendary synthesizer creators Dave Smith Instruments. With the ability to generate anything from truly aggressive abrupt sounds to warm and soft strings, the AS-1 is a pure analog monophonic synthesizer for production and live performance. Following the launch of Pioneer's live sampler in August 2016, which will connect seamlessly with the AS-1, this mono-synth is driven by a fully programmable true analog synthesis engine based around the analog circuitry of the Prophet-6 by Dave Smith Instruments. The AS-1 is capable of producing a powerful analog sound, making it the perfect addition to any production or live performance setup.
